Celebration Cakes

 

Portion guide based on round sponge celebration cakes

6 inch sponge  =  12 portions         7 inch sponge  =  17 portions

8 inch sponge  =  24 portions         9 inch sponge  =  30 portions

10 inch sponge = 35 portions         11 inch sponge  = 45 portions

12 inch sponge = 55 portions

 

Delivery for celebration cakes.

 

£10.00 for delivery within the local area (10 mile radius of Birmingham B18).

Anything over 10 miles will be charged at 75p per mile, based on a return journey.

 

 

Wedding Cakes

 

My average wedding cakes are 10, 8, 6 inch tiers and will provide approximately 100 - 120 portions (based on round sponge cakes).

 

Please note that this is based on 1.5 inch piece of cake.

 

Deposit

 

I will require a deposit of 25% of the total price which is non-refundable  to secure your date in my diary, and any remaining balance is due no later than one calendar month before the wedding date.

 

Should your final payment become overdue I reserve the right to cancel your order with no refund.

 

 

Cancellation

 

If for any reason you need to cancel your order you will not get a refund.

 

Although I will try to accommodate you if I can, for example if you have to change your wedding date, providing I am available.

 

I suggest that you take out a Wedding Insurance policy to cover you for any unfortunate events.

 

 

Delivery & set up of wedding cakes

 

£35.00 for wedding cake delivery and set up within a 10 mile radius of B18.

 

Anything over 10 miles will be charged at 75p per mile, based on a return journey.

 

Or you can collect your cake in person at a mutually convenient time free of charge.

 

Please note that Jaynes Creations / Wedding Cakes by Jayne accepts no responsibility if the cake is damaged in any way once it has been delivered to the venue or collected in person.

 

 

Disclaimer

 

Please ensure that all display flora, cake wires, feathers, ribbon or bows etc used for decoration purposes are removed from your cake prior to serving.

All my cakes and gingerbread are prepared where nuts are also stored – so may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.

 

How to look after your cake:

 

Keep the cake in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

Do not put the cake in a fridge or freezer - (unless they are fresh cream cakes or cheese cake).

Once cut, store in an airtight container or cover cut sides with cling film and eat within

3 days (eat on same day if fresh cream).
